Stylish Men’s Hoodies
With the upcoming spring months, many will feel a sense of spring fever, but typically April showers and the surprise cold front will literally 'rain on their parade'. Men's hoodies are always a fashionable trend as they are light enough for slightly warmer days while also providing enough coverage to stay warm. Plus the hood can always be pulled up to protect against any unexpected rain storms.
Brand Name Hoodies for Men
The market is literally full of hundreds of different manufacturers that all have their own line of men's hoodies, ranging from brand names to private labels. As with any category of apparel, men's hoodies have their own set of trends and popular brands at the moment. The most common and universally known and appreciated for its casual appearnce and lower price point remain the west coast brands. These include Billabong, Hurley, Volcom, and Quicksilver. These hoodies are usually simple and only have one main color with a supporting logo or basic graphic. They are usually the lowest priced, but are extremely durable and with their casual nature, can be appreciated by a wide range of age groups.
A number of popular brands that were once solely in the market of selling t-shirts have now begun introducing lines of men's hoodies including Affliction, Aqua VI, Ed Hardy, and Manchester. These hoodies are usually full of graphics and processed in a unique way. Many are stone washed and tacked with dyes and pigments to create one of a kind patterns and designs. Some also come with foil or rivets. This of course puts them at a higher price point, typically $40 to $50 more. The material is also usually thinner and hangs off the body better. In recent years these have been very popular, as the name of the brand drive purchase almost more than the garment's appearance. Men over age 20 typically buy these styles.
Men's Sports Hoodies
Another style of men's hoodies are the sports hoodies. These come from brands such as Nike, Reebok, and Adidas and are very different in appearance and material. They are designed for athletes, so the material is thinner and slicker to keep the athlete cool and get off sweat. The designs are simple and are mostly stripes and simple graphics with the company name. These are usually designed for athletes, teens, and active adults. It is also trendy to buy them in the color of a favorite team.
